Darren “Ginge”, Co-owner,
Qualified Diesel Mechanic
From a young age, Darren has been passionate about mechanics. After completing his schooling, he pursued a pre-trade course at Weltec, where he gained valuable hands-on experience at Cable Price Ltd. This solid foundation led him to secure apprenticeships at both Cable Price and Central Forklifts in Lower Hutt, where he honed his skills on a diverse range of vehicles and machinery.
Darren earned a National Certificate in Automotive Heavy Engineering, which opened doors to various roles, Having worked both in the mechanical being leading hand and then workshop foreman, before moving on to self employment before taking a Job as a Fleet Manager for a building company, running the working and making sure the fleet was kept running,
Darren primarily focused on operating and maintaining construction equipment and trucks. His extensive experience has provided him with a comprehensive understanding of the industry, allowing him to tackle a wide array of mechanical challenges with confidence and expertise.
Darren is an enthusiastic supporter of Speedway. He finds great joy in mentoring younger drivers, sharing his knowledge about car setup, maintenance, and repairs to help them grow in their racing journey, He has sponsored a few local Cars in both the ministocks and the Stockcar Class, Darren has this year been engineering support to the Wellington Wildcats Superstock team and The Wellington Young Guns Stockcar Team, Currently he is in his first year as a SNZ scrutineer doing his bit to give back to the club.
Darren is committed to providing exceptional service to all customers, whether big or small. He believes in building strong relationships and ensuring that every client’s needs are met with professionalism and care.

As co-owner of the business, Candi plays a vital role in shaping our vision. Though she may not be involved in day-to-day operations, her keen insights and strategic advice are invaluable.
Candi brings a fresh perspective to our work, helping to guide important decisions and ensure we stay aligned with our goals.
Her ability to view our activities from the outside allows her to provide thoughtful input on various matters, helping us continually improve and innovate.

Chelsea
Admin & General Helper
While still attending school, Chelsea brings her energy and enthusiasm to our workshop and is learning to complete the administration side of the business
As Admin Chelsea is on the computer most of the time in the workshop sorting invoices, emails and pricing and entering parts into the system,
When required Chelsea lends a hand in the workshop by tidying tools, organizing parts and helping carry out services on customers vehicles.
Chelsea has also gained valuable hands-on experience by working on-site, helping with vehicle servicing for our customers. Once she learns a new skill, she quickly becomes proficient, showcasing her dedication and eagerness to contribute.
Chelsea’s work ethic and willingness to learn makes her a cherished member of our team!
